yup I'm on a mission. I want to shock my counselor in 2 weeks and say I'm finished! He'll be floored.
Once I get Frankenstein out of the way I've got two lessons left and the last one is really half a lesson. I can do 1 lesson a day if it doesn't envolve reading novels and plays and such. And plus I'm finished with poetry now. Its short stories from here on out. And the essays mainly deal with political issues and if anyone can write essays on political stuff it be me. I typed that 900 word essay in 30 minutes for example.

When I got to work I had 3 V Day presents. Yay!!
Unfortunately 2 of them were from male co-workers that I don't trust. Boo!
But one was from the incredibly hawt girl in the next cube. OMFGYAY!!

Uh, I have no comment on the guys, being the politically correct person that I am. But you live in california right? I think its the water there.

Which Frankenstein SD? Mary Shelly's? Thats a good one, alot of described emotions in that one. Make sure as you go through you make notes and tag quotes out of there you can throw in your written essay.. Thats how I used to do mine.

My class makes me do that with this notebook thing I have to create on my giant spread sheet I send in.

I have a big cube and it's next to a window so I can't complain.
My office mate is about as cute as you can imagine and loves to wear mini skirts but she's spoken for. Still, it gives me one more reason not to quit. As far as the valentines from guys, it's not what you think

We have a social committee here and you basically just tell them who to send stuff to. Lots of people send V Day stuffs to all the people they usually work with on projects.

I may work for the government, but I work for the government in California.

Thats no fun. But at least the thought is there. I have not worked in a politically correct workplace, or in north america for almost ten years now. I dont think I would do too well back here.

That being said I do know what you mean by everyone sending gifts to people you work with. It does make sence.. I was trying to be funny.. like I said Im not PC. LOL.

EDIT: Ive got a buddy who plays for the other team.. We harrass each other back and forth with UnPC like comments. He knows I harrass everyone, and I have gotten mad at people who have crossed teh line. He likes to wear fruity pink hats and I call him on it every time I see him.

Good to hear that theres no complaints or friction what a person sexuality is in your workplace.. That means something is working right with respect to equal rights. Its totally different from written on paper laws, to real life.

Yup! That's why you may have the same federal anti-discrimination laws across the country, but in some states they are subverted and resented, in others they fit with the common concensus. It's really hard to legislate morality. But morality does change, slowly and unevenly.

Honestly, if I was a gay man I'd probably rather be working for the federal government (not the military) than the private sector. If someone were to discriminate against me they'd pretty much be toast because of all the regs.
