Ah, no problem, tenkani. I know how addicting DV can be. It's got some great laughs, I only wish the admins weren't as inept otherwise I'd be lurking around there all day.

  Gotta run!! See ya chumps.

WTF??? Lise WHY?????

Bye    :(
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

Sportsdude

so did you read my links on the cars tenkani?

We are looking at Toyotas actually, not the complete econo box like the Echo/yaris, but the corolla. We have a line on a 2003 with 60k on it, ac all that stuff for 8k. four door, and they are cheap on gas. I know th ediff cause I had to fill the tank of my loaner for quarter tank.. I know on my GMC its 25-30 dollars so I put that in... and completely filled the tank to full instead of 3/4's. lol.

they hold their value better than any car longer.

I like the Toyotas as well.  The only thing that I find with the older models is that the interior is very low.  So, for a tall person, you're hunched over.  One of my friends has an older model Toyota and it's terrible to sit in his car.  He's planning to get a bigger car to accomdate his taller friends.  I thought that he was joking, but he sounded serious to me.  hee hee...

Sportsdude

My friend has a 92 fully loaded V6 Camry with leather and its nice.

Hmm I don't know about not being able to fit in a Toyota. If I can fit in a hatchback 2 door yaris very comfortably and I'm at 6'8 nobody should have a problem.

I actually agree with ya there SD.. that 2002 that I had as a loaner fit me(not that Im tall, fats the problem), my brother 6'6, my dad 5'9 and my cousin 6'2.

But then again, I had an 86 tercel and it was small in that one.. is that round bouts the year you talking about PL?

Uhm, I can't remember.  I'll have to ask him.  Oh well, not important anyways.  :)

 So, how was everyone's dinner?!

I made this ground pork with rice, onions, mushrooms, peas and threw in some ginger.  It was a really tasty stir fry.  I was impressed.  hee hee...

kitten

That does sound good, purelife.  I had a pizza bun.  Come to think of it, that was all I had today.  I was very busy cleaning house from one end to the other.

purelife

Oh dear... you weren't hungry at all, kitten?  If it was me, I would be biting my own skin.

kitten

First I was too busy to be hungry, and then too tired to bother with much.  At least I got a lot done, and tomorrow I'll eat.

We ended up going to Pennyfarthings Fish and chips on Kingsway, just past Royal Oak.. it was pretty good actually.

the other fish and chips place we go to is in the Marpole area called Kingsfare Fish and Chips.. behind 70th avenue, I forget the crossroads.

Oh, okay, that makes sense to me now.

Did you buy more goodies from M&M?

I wanted to buy a slice of cheesecake from Bread Garden that Lise had suggested, but they were like 6 bucks a slice.  Wayyy too much for a lunch!
