  What a boootiful day. Spent the entire morning and afternoon making chicken wings, lasagne (bought, of course) and salad then taking them out to eat outside. It's just too darn beautiful to be cooped up inside.

  Tonight, I'm off to dinner with friends. Should be good as I'm leaving hubby behind with kids. He's sick (nasty bug going around as I'm sure purelife can attesh to it) so I'm going to represent the Lise Clan.

 Was a good day.  Beautiful sunshine.  Went out for a couple of hours to help one of our Scout families with a fundraising car wash.  They need to buy an insulin pump for their 5 year old daughter.  Great event, sponsorship from Thrifty Foods, lots of support from the local community (including the HA chapter....)
 
 Grillin some ribeyes for dinner.

My chicken in the oven smells nice... I kinda experimented.  Brought a whole chicken and dumped whatever is from fridge into it and marinated it with balsamic vinegar, oliveoil, lemon, pepper, salt, dark soy sauce... Added some spinach, turnips, mushrooms, carrots...

oh hey Lil Me - Not sure if your boys need sandles but at Sears Outlet store at Lougheed, there were some cheap sandles for $10.  I saw Sorel, Kangeroo and this other brand...
