I did'nt know you could mix sour cream with balsamic and olive oil?  I make my own dressings as well with balsamic, olive oil, sesame, etc but never thought to add sour cream.  I hope you don't mind if I try it next time.  Thx!

  It sounds like it might be a little naughty, but when I mix it up, there is usually less than a quarter cup (total ingredients)....which will toss a salad for 6.  Not bad.
