Wasn't reason they left Quebec was due to the arena?

Well looking at Quebec politics at the moment the PQ is in pretty good shape to take over sadly, and they could if they wanted to build a new arena in Quebec City in the name of Quebec to lure the NHL back. And this does have precedent it happend in Charolette with the Bobcats of the NBA. The Hornets left for New Orleans and two years later Charolette had a new arena, new owner and new team.

Still pretty unreal a northern city like Seattle doesn't have an NHL team. They have 2 WHL teams (including Everett).

The reason we don't see more northern teams were the game is actually played is because the guy who runs the league nows nothing about hockey he's a basketball exec! And he's the George Bush of Hockey thinking southern towns will embrace hockey like Nascar thinks northerners will embrace Nascar!  With the new CBA the little guy can compete finally. And now with the loonie being stronger then it was in the mid-90's, you must look into Canada and the Northwest as options, not Las Vegas!

Yes, either way, the players get paid, and paid very well.

  So what the heck was lunch everyone. Coffee and bagel day for me. I am eating a bag of popcorn right now. Someone made some in the office and I had to make my own because the smell drove me crazy!!

I had a wonderful chicken salad sand...company bought....and a small cookie...oh ya and my crystal lite...no more Pepsi for me...use to drink 4 big bottles a day....

Sugared sodas are terrible for your health, mostly because they are completely empty calories. You can drink 300 calories worth of soda and since it doesn't do anything to sate your hunger, you then go out and eat a full meal.

  I drink diet soda, but I'm sure that will kill me in some as-yet unspecified way
