Yes sure Mr. SD but finances are not my strong suite.
Compared to most loans, actual student loans have a pretty low interest rate, so basically the bank doesn't charge you much interest each year so in effect they are easier to pay off.
In addition, a lot of people qualify for "subsidized loans" which means there is no interest at all as long as you are a student!!
The question is whether you can get a student loan when you're attending school in a different country and I don't know the answer to that, but I think I know who to ask.
