Priyanka Chopra an indian actress will play the amazon princess Wonder Woman.

  She's a hottie.

I thought that they were going to consider Eva Longoria and Catherine Zeta-Jones.  Catherine is HAWT and she would do well in Wonder Woman, imo.

Well I don't know if its truely offical but IMDB has put her as Wonder Woman on the imdb: Wonder Woman board. And those crazy american idol fans were pissed that, that alien katharine mcphee wasn't choosen.

Well Wonder Woman is an Amazon Princess in the comics. Last time I checked white anglo saxons didn't roam the amazon.

Zhang Ziyi is incredibly gifted and focussed.  Her physical dexterity is unparalleled.  That said, I don't see her as Wonder Woman.  Wonder woman should be curvy.

  When I was working with actors in China, I was amazed at their versatility.  They could all sing (a talent that I am severely lacking in) and dance, and a number of them were well-versed in Kung Fu, as well as act.

She's not known because those are bollywood films. I guess if you wanted to check those films out you could go to a local indian store that sells bollywood films.  The Paki-Indi market store that is by my house (which I went into to get rice once, and I got looks, funny looks, but I didn't care, they were like wow, what are you doing here, it was funny weird.) sells bollywood movies.
