What's your favorite all time movies to watch?

Mine will always be Lord of the Rings: Extended Version. Haven't found any movies to top the trilogy yet.

The original Star Wars was awesome. Empire Strikes Back was the best out of the three.

Bill Cosby.

If we're talking sci-fi, Blade Runner would be at or near the top of my list.
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

Blade Runner was one of the Best. Replicas rule!!!

Alien and Aliens (first two movies) were pretty darn good too. It got stupid by the 3rd and 4th instalment. I mean... c'mon, do I really need to see Ripley getting attach to her alien offpsring???

Yes!

How could I forget!

Aliens (2nd in the series) was my favorite overall, but just edging out the first by a hair.

The AVP movie was a f*cking disgrace

Did you watch that? Gawd. I didn't even want to go near that one.

I did cave in and watched Doom. Only because I'm an avid fan of the game and who could resist the Rock? Doom was horrible to say the very least.

Doom was bad.

But I'm ashamed to admit that I also found it entertaining.

The plotline and script were mind-numingly bad, but Teh Rock was pretty funny at times.

If you haven't seen AVP, rent it or better yet borrow it from some dope who bought it    :P

It's not good, but some of the action sequences are decent, and if you're a fan of the franchise you sort of have to...

Well.... I'm going to have to be pretty darn bored if I was going to rent AVP. Maybe one day...... possibly before I'm about to give birth. HAHAH.. ah sheez.... bad joke. Bad joke.

Terminator and Terminator 2 were good. Watched those? The third one was laughable. The Governator really showed his age in that one. And what's with a wimpy version of John Connor. Bah. Show more balls for crying out loud.

Mystery Train (Jarmusch) and Juliet of the spirits (Giulietta degli Spiriti) by our old pal, Fed Fellini

Future Canadian

Oh yeah, I love Mystery Train, too.
LOTR Extended trilogy would also have to be my favorite movie as well.
Honorable Mention: Wings of Desire

...religion has made some contributions to civilization. It helped in the early days to fix the calendar, and it caused Egyptian priests to chronicle ecplipses with such care that in time they were able to predict them. These two services I am prepared to acknowledge, but I do not know of any others

Gotta go with Battle Royale.

Favourite movie????Hmmmm.

Well Anything done by Pedro Almodóvar is awesome in my opinion.

Here's a couple of movies I've seen recently that I've really really liked:

  L' Auberge espagnole

Hable con ella (Talk To Her) - awesom Almodovar film

Munich

Belle de jour - ultimate classic french movie

City of God - One of the best films I've ever seen, none of the people in the film were actors, amazing.

La Vie rêvée des anges (Dreamlife of Angels) - pretty dark some might think of it as a downer

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - Well I found it funny.

Gopher

Hard to say, but over the years I've particularly liked (among others which I can't remember at present):

Picnic At Hanging Rock (the book, by Joan Lindsay, is even better).

Midnight Cowboy

The Day The Earth Stood Still

Gandhi

Jesus of Montreal

The Lace Maker (I think this is a Swiss film)

I've gone to very few movies, and rarely watch TV, so of the ones I seen I would choose "History of the World, Part I".  "Blazing Saddles"  would come a close second.
Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped.  They have not forgotten.

Aiyee..... is everyone here brainy?!?!?! Man, the choices of movies.... put teh Lise to shame.

Ah don't worry Lise.  I've seen action films really liked Batman Begins and the Spiderman series.  Thought Wedding Crashers was funny and I hate to admit it but I was forced to see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle. And guess what? They carded us going into the movie theatre! Unbelievable! Just because it had pot smoking in it.
