The Ghurkas were a regiment from India During the World Wars.  Their method was strangulation.

Are you sure it was the Ghurkas and not the Thugees? I think the Ghurkas were from Nepal.

It has been a long time and I obviously forgot the details.  They used a very sharp knife to kill enemy soldiers, and yes, they were from Nepal.  They served with the British regiments.
