In the severe cold my eyes go green and get icey/sharp look
I listen to ABBA and I'm not ashamed
My social life looks like a United Nations meeting
I go out of my way and not eat Americanish food.
When someone asks what country I'm from, I say Missouri
If someone asks where's St Louis, I say at the bottom of Budweiser bottle/can
I never say the US or America to denote the country but just 'the states'
To half the people that know me think I'm from Vancouver Island
To the other half think I'm from Kitsilano
Some get the impression I was born in Hungary or Germany
I can't stand southern accents, I see it as a choice as I know people and grew up with people from the south who don't have the accent, I see it as lack of intelligence. (I'm not alone in this thinking, Stephen Colbert for example)
I'm a fierce defender of Canadian/British English and not American English. To the point that I got a few places to take down signs that were spelled in American spelling. I can't seem to stop trying to find a use for the word whilst in essays even though it is apparently a no no. whatever.
The federal government of Canada told me to put down Nationality: Canadian on federal docs even though I have no real immigrant papers.
I get giddy talking about Canada, could talk to you for hours and days on just Canada in general
I rather speak metrically and in centigrade even when back in Missouri.

I try to eat a different ethnic food for dinner each day of the week (monday chinese, tuesday greek, wednesday japanese/vietnamese, thursday indian, friday mexican or mish mash or cook, weekend british to sushi to try something new, cook) and so on
I'm a recovering nacho addict

I usually walk the entire Central Business District and West End.
I have a tendency to walk all of broadway or 4th up to granville sometime during the week
when I'm not feeling well I eat pho as it reminds me of chicken noodle soup for some reason
I dress down, not really flashy although lately I've been wearing my nice coat everywhere
I get 4-6 haircuts a year
my nails grow like wild fire (like lil me)

I like to read travel writers
I find malls claustrophobic and I get cranky this explains my loathing of malls without natural air
only person on the planet that can get up at 6am and be late for a 9am class when its 100m away. Where the 3hrs go I have no idea.
I can't read in cars, I'll get car sick
I go a week without shaving usually
I do some sort of meditation everyday
I always take the stairs leaving the building or going down to the main level, elevator coming back up
I call Oma on Sunday afternoons, mother after the last class of the day

when driving I never take the same route to a place and back, I'll always go a different way home from the way I came.
