Awww....sorry it wasn't what you were hoping for Michel.
I never took Science World to be anything more than what it is. I always thought its intention or purpose was for more of a 'fun' experience for kids than an educational one. Time spent there for kids being better spent than at the movies or a day in front of the telly.

Science World does have a ring to it, different than what it actually is. I might be wrong, but didn't it start out as KidsWorld ? Not sure....but I know it has always been put out there as kids entertainment. [/DIV]

Well speaking from some knowledge about 'Science' designated areas.
Usually the dinos would be at the Natural History Museum. lol
My Science Centre at home, which is free btw, deals with more science in space, chemical stuff. For kids basically.

No the ball was built for science world. I remember science world when it was at the old location.. wherever that was, I dont remember. I dont know what science world might have been called first when it was at the origional place.

OOOOHHHHH. I'm really off. I'm still thinking of the Science World that used to be on Granville....a little bit up from Hastings. lol

The big golf ball was the Alcan pavillion at Expo 86.
There used to be an Arts Science and Technology Centre in an old building on Granville. My parents used to drop me off and leave me there unsupervised for the afternoon. (those were the days!)
