HALIFAX - Nova Scotia's Department of Tourism has pulled its ads from a Vancouver website and says it will re-evaluate its advertising relationship with Internet giant Google after discovering the ads were placed on a site featuring pornographic discussion groups.
The department bought a number of ads to be shown on websites connected to Google. One of those sites, www.discovervancouver.com, appears innocuous enough until readers get to the site's open forum section.

With the Olympics on the horizon it might be an eye opener for tourists to look up info on Vancouver, only to discover that Vancouverites are a pack of racist homophobes overly obsessed with penis size and poo.

Clearly...

...that is defamation.  Not only on Mr. Bairds part, who started the initial complaint, but the media outlets that printed the story also.

Everyone knows that DV can get a little wild, but to print this...

"The ads were placed on a web page discussing child pornography, sex tourism with children and methods on how to rape women."

...is simply not true.  I think there is more to the story than meets the eye.
