Just curious if anyone EVER successfully purchased something on sale in their flyers ?

If they're going to advertise something, you'd think they would get more than 3.  [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c003.gif" border=0]

This isn't new.....they have been doing this for as long as I can remember, which is why I only ever shop there as a last resort.  It's a waste of time and gas to go there for anything advertised in their flyers. Makes me crazy.

  Rant finished.

Can you take a rain cheque, P.C.- or do you need the items RIGHT NOW?

The two crappy tire stores near me are understocked and badly organized.

Yes Lil Me, they offered a raincheck at one, and at the other they said they were getting more in, but they were all spoken for in rainchecks.  (they won't be in until after Christmas)

The two near me are also understocked and unorganized.  Hmmm....a trend.

It's not an issue that they're out of stock...especially at Christmas.  It's an issue that they put out a flyer on Friday (to run for a week), and by mid Friday morning, they're out.  I just can't help but wonder why they haven't learned anything about purchasing in all these years.  They have always been like that.

They waste money on TV ads that run for a month or 2 ....long after they have none to offer.

That's just crazy.  How can you "Give like Santa, save like Scrooge" when there's nothing to buy?!  Unless you want to buy your beloved a duck call whistle or last summer's discounted pool chemicals.

I was just in Canadian Tire yesterday and had a terrible experience.  I'm usually in and out at that store and rarely go there.  I also notice that they don't have lots of stocked items.

I have yet to go to a Canadian Tire store. I don't even know where the nearest one is for that matter.
Don't really have that urge to as well.

still don't know exactly what they sell.

Well....they sell tires.....among a plethora of other things....hardware, automotive supplies, tools, housewares, sporting goods.  But the problem with them, is they never have stock.  They advertise that they have stuff.....but they don't.

  Funniest CT story ever.

Some friends of ours went there to buy some Noma Moon Rays.  The whole back wall....which is HUGE....the width of the store....from floor to ceiling was boxes upon boxes of different styles of moon rays.  They selected the style they wanted, and asked for assistance from one of the clerks, as they were out of reach.

The guy stands there bare faced and says....We don't have any.  So our friend (who has a way with words) managed to drag the truth out of the guy, that the hundreds of boxes lining the walls, were empty.  A nice display of everything they didn't have. That's where his ability to string together some of his more colourful hyphenations came into play.

I agree they never have any of the sale items in.. to be honest I never usually buy that stuff from them.

I only go to Ukranian Tire to get camping stuff when I need it at the last minute.. otherwise I try to buy it from other places like Army n Navy or 3 Vets.

I try not to go there, but the one in town is owner by locals so it is better then most.
