South Park' creators declare war on Scientology

Matt Stone and Trey Parker, creators of the animated satire "South Park," are digging in against Scientology after a controversial episode mocking the celebrity-endorsed religion and outspoken Scientologist Tom Cruise was yanked abruptly from the schedule Wednesday.

"So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for Earth has just begun!" they said in a statement Friday in Daily Variety.

Bloggers accused Cruise of threatening to not promote "Mission Impossible 3" if the episode ran. Comedy Central is owned by Viacom, as is Paramount, which is putting out "MI:3."

But Cruise's representative, Arnold Robinson, told The Associated Press on Friday that Cruise made no such demands.

That's the funniest part of their statement. LOL!
The battle is well and truly joined. Fight fight fight!
