I'm racking my brain on this one... the only one I can come up with is the original Magnificent Seven with Yul Bryner. That was a good one.
Anyone else got a favorite cowboy/western flick?

High Noon, the Sting, Magnificent Seven, Young Guns, Unforgiven, Legends of the Fall
I enjoy Western movies, but all the plots become one big blur in my mind.

Dances with wolves, Geronimo and The broken arrow for the progressive ones. Once upon a time in theWest and all the others western spaghetti for the "classic" type, ltough for me I must say mainly for the music of Eno Morriconne, the landscape of Spain, the "whistling" guns sounds and all the clichés you can imagine. lol

Well, y'know... most western flicks have the basic story line:
Bad dudes walk into town
Creates mayhem (shoots them chickens)
Who will stand up to them? Who? Who?
Why its that dang good ole deputy
(throws in a handful of minority cause it's the rite thang to do)
Big shot out
The good guys win
I've never watched Brokeback Mountain and I'm not gonna touch that with a ten foot pole. Two guys kissing isn't exactly my cuppa tea. (icky icky icky icky gross!)
That Wil Smith was good. Wassit call? Wild Wild West? Good soundtrack.
