I don't. I believe you have to know a person pretty well before you fall truly and madly in love.

I don't either.

I believe there may be immediate chemistry......and I believe there may be immediate attraction.....but love takes time.

Yeah, at least 20 to 30 minutes.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

 I see love as this

first you go oh she's a hottie
then you are like oh I like her
then its I can't get her out of my mind
then its gawd stop staring at her she'll think you're weird
then I ask somebody if she's single
she's single
oh boy
settle down settle down
I say hey
she goes hi
I sweat buckets
I faint
she laughs
I ask her out
anvil hits me on my head
she says yes
I faint again
and do I'm the king of the world thing

I believe there's got to be some sort of physical attraction at first. Depending on the guy and the chemistry...... but mostly I believe in knowing a person before falling in love. I think women are more clued in to the emotions and guys are, well, guys are more visual.

well that would be the ideal girlfriend for me.  Somebody who is just as political or a girl who isn't the 'talker' stereo type because I can out talk anyone on the planet.  Like those commericals of the guy just sitting there and the girl is talking non stop. I'm the girl, I talk and talk and talk and talk until I go hoarse.

i believe in lust at first sight.
...

Moolah!

It's rare. But I believe it exists.

A mental state of neutrality would be the only prequisite.

When you first see the other person you're neutral - you haven't met the person yet, you don't know anything about them... so impressions come easier.

Usually the very first impressions are those that come from the subconscious. And subconscious is the part that KNOWS all about your compatibility and future prospects with the other person.

One must be calm to pick up those very first impressions. That's why I say it's rare because we're conditioned to repress all info that does not come from the rational mind.

Consequently I also believe 99.9% of the time what's perceived as love at first sight, is just lust in disguise. [A onclick="addImg('icon/509.gif')" href="jvascript:void(0)"][/A]

n...I don't believe in LAFS.  Lust in disquise is what it is.  Takes time and attention to cultivate a true love.

My b/f noticed me first at the very beginning.  He told me that it was "love at first sight."  I noticed him too, sooner or later.  When our eyes met for the very first time, I knew that there was something special between him and I.  I felt like I had to get to know him and he felt the same way as well.  Love at first sight has to happen when both parties feel.  Him and I created the feeling of "love" at first sight.  My two cents.
