I think it's because he wants to "spy" on us grandkids and his family (he has family in England too) and he likes to be "in" with technology. Heck, he even owns a cell phone.

That's so cool, purelife. I think one of my grandfathers would have been like that, had he still been alive. But he died in 1980. At that time, he had a CB radio and was reading up on video cameras.

I think that it's great to kinda get with the age. And I never told him to get on it.
Technically, he's Mr PL's grandpa but he's still mine and always will be.
I never had a grandpa that I remembered in my life. My dad's dad died when I was really young and I don't remember him.

My great uncle is 90 he talks to his family in Slovakia on Skype and email, lifts weights and went to Slovakia for a month in Septmeber. lol He only does these things now because my great aunt died a 2 years ago. She was a penny pincher didn't see the need for a computer or travelling even.

Hahaha SD. Reminds me of the Izzy the "strong man" in Seinfeld, played by Lloyd Bridges.

watching the documentary "Monarchy" on Newsworld. I feel sorry for these British monarch's. The documentary is making them look all sad all the time, like they're waiting around for someone to abolish them so they can live in peace. lol
