Unbelievable!  They find the kid whose been missing for the past week in this apartment down the street from me (literally I've been to this Imo's that the creep was a manager at *shivers*) and then when they get inside they find this other kid who has been missing for 4 years (I remember when he went missing as well he was riding his bike near the woods and then just vanished).  This is just too weird that somebody could have somebody that long in a high populated area and not suspect anything at all.  Poor kid (the one that was kidnapped 4 years ago) is going to have a tough road ahead of him.
This whole thing reminded me of the Austrian girl that was in a cell in the basement for 8 years until she escaped last year.

Yes, this is incredible. I've been watching reports on TV - the one who had been missing for four years looked in good shape, but I wonder what the real story is going to come out with. This should give at least a spark of hope to many parents who have 'lost' children.

I hope so.  Nobody is immune from this and it can happen to anyone. When I was little in elementary school I would sit out by the bus stop alone and nobody thought twice about it and one time two people came by in a black dodge pick up truck (can't remember if it was 2 guys or a couple) and the person in the truck stopped in front of me and and either a guy or a girl said 'do you want some candy little fella' and stuck out his hand.  I got scared and said "NO" and ran all the way home not looking back.  Never told my parents about it and never thought about it afterwards but I have that memory stuck in my head and its been at least 12 years since this happened.
