He also got laid off too.  It's terrible to be during the middle of December, or near end.  But, I know that everything will be okay.

That IS exciting purelife (the engagement, not the lay-off)

It isn't great to be laid off any time, but it seems to stand out more when it's just before Christmas.  Arrrggg

In the industry that he is in (construction), I would imagine lower numbers of lay offs but I was wrong.  He was probably with the wrong company.

I'm surprized......I thought they were screaming for workers in that industry.  I suppose winter work isn't as plentiful.  I think there is no shortage of jobs out there, so good luck to him in finding something even better maybe.

Congratulations on your engagement, purelife.  That is wonderful news.  I wish you eternal happiness.

If it is outside work it is a little harder to find work just now, especially with the bad weather.  Nobody wants work done around Christmas time.  He will find something soon, I'm sure.

LOL PC.  You know that I'm great on hijacking threads.  Anyways, I'm going to delete that one post.

So did I delete one post about the construction business.  Back to the topic.

So, did we guess the correct answer?  *anxiously twiddling my thumbs*

P.C.

Good guess 49er.  That was my hubby's first guess too.  (of course I'm torturing him too) but no cigar for either of you.

Chicken.....good guess.  Not it.
