I haven't read that kingy, but I DID read, Women Are From Mars, Men Have A Penis.  I think they were probably similar.  [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c025.gif" border=0]

There was a study done once, and the significance of this study was that it was more astounding for it's results than it was for it's content.  It was the only study ever done, where the results were the same for all age groups........ from the age of toddlers up to centenarians.  100%

The excercise was to put two chairs into an empty room.  Two males were sent into the room to talk.  In ALL cases, in ALL age groups, the males placed the chairs side by side and they proceded to talk.  Two females were sent into the room, and in ALL cases, in ALL age groups, the females placed the chairs opposite each other.....and they proceded to talk.  (I'm not sure what my point is, but I think it clearly demonstrates that we are genetically disposed to converse in totally different ways.)  Opposite ways almost.

Opposite is this way right

across from each other right?
I like to look at the person when I talk.

Are you talking about talking with a female....or another male.

.....and remember, you're not alone in this.  Would another male feel comfy with you sitting knees to knees ?  Or might HE move his chair.

speaking of that whenever I go out to a restaurant I always see a couple sit next to each other while eating instead on opposite sides of the table. Whats up with that?

no okay I go to applebees and theres a couple they sit next to each other now at the table instead of across from each other. When did people start doing this?

My guess would be that they are in a new relationship.....when being close and touching is a priority over conversation.  Or maybe they're avoiding having to make eye contact ????

Hmm I dunno but to me this is a new phenomon because I never have seen something like this until a couple months ago and now thats all I see.

I couldn't do that I mean what are you going to do cuddle at a restuarant? lol
I like eye contact.  Plus if they wanted touching there's always legs under the table thing.

If you can't make eye contact with someone then lol that relationship isn't going to last. You've got to get comfortable.  Sitting next to each other seems like forcing something to me.
