Apparently, there's nothing better to do in Øvre Eiker, Norway: now six (count 'em - six!) people there have received a polaroid picture of someone in a reindeer suit doing stuff like reading the newspaper on their front yards ...

[/span][h1]"Reindeer man" exposed[/h1][span class="artIngress"]The bizarre mystery of the so-called 'reindeer man' widened as a sixth person reported receiving a Polaroid picture of the strange figure.[/span][span class="brodtekst" width="470"]Håvard Fiskum was taken aback by the discovery of a Polaroid in his mailbox in Darbu, Øvre Eiker. The photograph showed a 'reindeer' reading a newspaper, newspaper Drammens Tidende reports.[/p]The Norwegian media has been fascinated by the story after the news broke of a series of deliveries of photographs in the area - of a mystery figure dressed as a reindeer. [/p]"I was reasonably surprised when I saw what was in my mailbox. A person sitting dressed like a reindeer was sitting in the picture. He or she sat in a wooden camping chair reading a book in my garden," Fiskum told the newspaper's web site.[/p]Reindeer man?
Fiskum believes the mysterious reindeer could well be a woman. [/p]"At least this is not a big man. I think it must be a woman," Fiskum said. The newspaper reports that several other readers have written in to say they believe the pictures left behind by the reindeer seem to conceal a female form behind the disguise.[/p]"Just look at the hips and the sitting position in the picture. It doesn't really remind you of a man," Fiskum argues.[/p]Fiskum views the stunt as innocent, at least as long as it is a one-off, even if the reindeer was on his property. His first reaction was to ring around to friends and acquaintances that he suspected could be behind the stunt, but none of them admitted to being the reindeer.[/p]It was only when he saw the story on Drammens Tidende's web site that he realized he was not alone in having a mystery souvenir of the reindeer person's visit.[/p]Øvre Eiker's sheriff, Målfrid Høivik, admitted that the phone had been ringing constantly since the story broke about the area being stalked by the photo-happy 'reindeer'.[/p]Six homeowners have reported being visited by the odd creature, and so far no one has chosen to file charges against the trespasser.[/p]Reindeer revealed
But on Wednesday afternoon increasing attention on the possibility of the reindeer being a woman eventually resulted in a confession from the creature's accomplice.[/p]A reader of the newspaper's web site magnified one of the reindeer photos and discovered the animal was wearing high heels. Later radio station Kanal24 was contacted by somene claiming to be the reindeer's assistant, who said the animal was a female art student.[/p]The reindeer woman is reportedly interested in action art and carried out a similar stunt in the district last year. In 2005, together with another woman, the artist appeared in a suit and white make-up and the pair posed with a tuba and violin in private gardens when the homeowners were away. A photograph of the scene was left in the mailbox.[/p]The newspaper reported that a seventh recipient of a reindeer visit was considering filing charges, saying they were disturbed knowing that their home had been under surveillance so that the stunt could take place while they were away.[/p][/span][a href="vny!://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article1457026.ece"]vny!://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article1457026.ece[/a]
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.
