Yeah I was or showed her what to do. lol oh geez.
I was on my last street for the day and the snow was coming down pretty hard. I was going about as slow as possible the car could go. The street though curves and goes downhill. At the top of the hill I positioned the car to make the turn except the car wouldn't turn, it lost traction, wheels locked and then the brakes went. So the car was basically a missile coming down this hill and slammed into this metal mail box. The mail box went completely through my front end like a knife. Somehow the mailbox is fine, its just bent but my car is going to need the entire front end replaced plus the hood and front left side as well.
Then the AAA guy said I had to tell the homeowners I ran into their mailbox. I was in a very rich nieghbourhood, which is even more depressing. So I walk up to these person's castle and ring the doorbell. The guy comes out in boxers and tshirt his little kid around 4 or so is with him. I give insurance stuff and everything but to be honest the mailbox is fine. Its just bent.
We're probably just going to pay this (the car damage) out of pocket because if insurance took it up my rates would go through the roof.
Anyway it happened around 6am and I didn't get home until 10am. ugh was I tired. And then of course my great uncle and aunt are here so they're like "I heard about your car". Oh embarassing.
