That sounds lovely Lise.  :)

I might go to this quick place that makes Pho today after I go see the doctor.  The paper said it was really good.

Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry.

Well, at least your mom has asked you over for dinner for CNY eve. I'm having the folks over, complete with decorations and Chinese cookies.

Leftover Kraft Dinner!  (the no-name barnd, too- it sucks!)  I also added some sliced garlic sausage and ketchup to give it some taste!  This is the worst lunch!!

We're going out for CNY eve with my whole fam.

You had pho before, SD?  That's interesting.

KD isn't too bad for something quick.  We brought ready-made lasagne from Superstore (the large foil dish for about 10 bucks) and hopefully that'll taste good.  I hope to have it tonight.

Sportsdude

why is that interesting? I had pho at the vietnamese place down the street.

I'm sure the Superstore lasagne will taste good when you heat it up and the cheese melts, etc.

Haven't tried Superstore lasagne. Maybe we'll give it a go. I'm not that crazy about the store brand there.

Western Family brand isn't too bad, especially the meat lasagne.

what type of meat did you have with the soup?

Lise

Do you guys get those.... different parts of the cow that comes with your pho? I always get the meat slices. I'm not too big on cow intestines or knuckles or whatever.

I watched a program on how to make pho and the lady says her secret ingredient is.... get this.... dried worms. Eeeeoow.

  Check out video:

Dried worms?  Ewwwwwweeee.... I guess they'll put these in authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

I remember you mentioning about Western Classic's lasagne.  I'll have to try that one day as well.

Lise

Yeah, I know. My mouth totally fell when she said that. But dang it, I couldn't taste the worms at all. I wonder if all pho soups have worms in them.
