Beef rendang is a Malaysian dish. It's dried curry. Got the idea from this website:

Oh, I see. Wow, the recipe looks amazing. Where do you go to buy these special ingredients, Lise? Spanish onion, I've never heard of these before.

Hi! Sorry, I had to dash off to look after my cooking. Spanish onion is just another word for red onions. I got it from Save-On Foods. The same goes with the lemongrass stalks. I didn't add in the galangal (young ginger root) because I couldn't find it but that's ok. I just added extra ginger. Forget about the tumeric leaf - you can't find it but I found lime leaves (or kaffir leaves) at T & T. Really easy once you get all the stuff and you can deep freeze the curry for next time.

I ended up making some touchy feely healthly whole grain pasta, and then while SS was making that I made a sausage, turkey, oinion, tomato, basically an unhealthy but tastey spagball sauce.

So I didnt end up doing what I wanted, LOL.

Played settlers of cattan for three more games. What is everyone else up to tonight? I had three people call me to go out drinking tonight but Im not answering and hiding.
