P.C.

Hey P.C. Are you talking about the store that sold the movie stuff or the sale of vintage/costume/contempary clothes?

Yes, the movie stuff.  Tell me more, tell me more.  I have a quirk for the theatrics in decorating, so it sounds like it could be interesting. [img border=0 src="http://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif"]  I'd love to see the pics !!!

Here you go Miss P.C.  Their prices were affordable too.  This is just some of the things they carried.  There was more but I couldn't capture the entire store!

So so. Very stressed right now remodelling my home to sell it.
But in the long run I'll be happier. In 2 or 3 months.

How's life in the great white north?

The locals kicking you out east Steinbeck?

It's peachy at the moment, enjoying the beer and weather.

Oh, my area is ridiculously over-priced.
Taking my marbles to Texas.

I thought about moving up Canadia way, but they would sieze my arsenal   :)

Really? You're moving to Texas? Wow. Let me guess... Austin? That city is the only other way I'm moving to Texas although some in my family like South Padre Island, but I think they're just too afraid of Mexico.
(For Canadians who don't know where South Padre Island is, think Point Roberts except on the Texas/Mexico border).

The only other way I see myself living in Texas is if I have one of those 20,000 acre ranches and place a house in the middle of the 20k thereby not having to worry about locals. haha

Dude, 100% agree.

And yeah, Austin area   :)    They mostly vote dem, which I suppose is as close to freethinking as I'm going to find outside of Berkeley   :P

Was also looking around San Marcos, which is about 30 miles south of Austin. In between Austin and San Antonio. Not a bad spot, although I'm guessing the locals are a bit more steriotypically Texan than in the Austin area where they like to "keep it weird".

Also agree with you about the acreage. Don't want to have to deal with neighbors so been looking at the 10 - 20 acres range. With trees preferably.

Anyway, to be honest, if I had 5.7 million dollars I would probably move to Vancouver. But I don't sooo....

Haha totally on moving. Although I think if I had that kind of cash lying around I'd move to the English or Scottish countryside.

Yep, I think.  mainly furniture though.  It's more of props.  They might have them, MrPL seemed to remember seeing some but I don't remember.  They had a ton of things and I didn't look too carefully.
