Hiya CK!  It's been a while since I have seen you around.

Have you been behaving good lately?  ;)

CK

Hi purelife. Its been too long. Some days I try to come on to DS but our network at work is bogged down and it is too slow. today seems ok, mind you, its dead here, everyone is Stampeding or sleeping.

Lunch today is Beef on a Bun. Our neighbor office invited me over for Stampede grub. I am leaving work early too to head to the mountains.

behaving!? of course! you know me!

purelife

What's beef on a bun?  Is it just a beef patty on bun?  like a hamburger?

Glad to know that you're up to your usual self.  ;)

  *hugs*

CK

basically just sliced roast beef on a bun, but cooked in a BBQ style sauce.

*big hugs to you too*...*and a butt pinch*...

purelife

butt pinch?  You naughty....

CK

well, you know me sweetie. If I can't pinch a cute ol' friends tush, whose butt can I pinch??

chat soon. Good to hear from you.

My lunch: just made a Quesadilla. Apparently thats all I eat these days.  Its funny because I'm not hispanic yet I make mexican food, its like in my blood. Thats america's melting pot for yeah. Mcdonalds has been replaced by taco bell.

ciao CK.  will miss you dearly.

mmmm....yummy lunch there SD.  What do you put in your quesadillas?

Some Chick

I bought a bunch of frozen "Penne Pollo" dinners ($1.85 each).  I brought them to work and plugged up the freezer with them.  That plus an orange and coffee = my lunch.  I'm cheap/frugal.

Sportsdude

Well whatever I can find. Usually pre cooked chicken, cheese and whatever else is lying around. (Used tomatos, lettuce, jalopenos, etc.). Today I ran out of chicken so I went on a limb and put deli ham in its place with a teaspoon of newmans own caeser dressing in replace of the gringo mama salsa from dierbergs (local chain, stl ((saint louis abbrevated) the only place in the world where Walmart is afraid to go to (they end up getting thrown out of town)).

Suprising as usual whatever I do seems to work.  For a guy who never took a cooking class in his life and only figured things out by trial and error and by watching them do it at taco bell, I'm pretty good.

Mmmm.  Taco Bell.

I'm going to have go and get me some real soon.

I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a medium-sized bowl of cherries.  It seems like the cherries are tastier this year, or maybe I'm just glad to see them again.  I bought strawberries and blueberries as well, so I'll likely be living on fruit more than anything else for a while.
Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped.  They have not forgotten.

Chicklet

I love this time of the year mainly for the fruit kitten.  I have fruit salad almost everyday.  I love the berries and the peaches and pretty much everything else (except cherries).  Not sure why but I just don't dig them.

I've got an excess amount of strawberries that I need to eat before they get bad.

Don't let them go bad SD!  Freeze them if you can't eat them all.  It's so sad to see a good bunch of berries go bad.
