Hey Michel.

When is your insurance due?  I found out that you don't have to do aircare until your insurance is due.

When I purchased my car, air care was due Sep 2007 but my insurance wasn't due until June 2008.  I was told by the Air Care Specialist that I didn't have to do it until June.

They let you renew your insurance when your aircare expired at the same time too?  That's odd because they normally don't let you until aircare was renewed, unless you renewed insurance in 2007?

I would call them up just to make sure, Michel.

they put a sticker on? hmm so that's what the 'permit' is. ICBC is generally lax on international students, I don't know anybody who paid for their permit to drive in BC. Everyone just said 'don't get pulled over by the cops'. lol the island

Is this just a Vancouver thing.  I have never done an aircare thing here....nor has anyone I know.

*I'd never even heard of it until I read it here, when you were talking about it a few months ago.
