haha! Johnny Depp is from Kentucky?

Anyone watch 21 Jump Street? I remember the opening of the show had a BC Tranist logo on the train and parts of Hastings. Johnny Depp was..or still is a honey. I mean that in a non-gay kind of buddy buddy way...

Sportsdude

Yeah he's from Kentucky and so is George Clooney. Then Brad Pitt grew up in hick southwestern Missouri.

I loved 21 Jumpstreet.  Cheezy plot, but it was sooooo good and soooo realistic in elementary school.

Loved the local locations, street scenes, Point Grey school.

Good morning everyone.

I'm going to meet up for lunch with a friend next week whom I haven't seen for 17 odd years!  Holy moly!  I'm kinda nervous but excited at the same time.  :)

How is everyone doing so far?

    ADD:  Heya LM!  :)

Lil Me

That's exciting, purelife!  I gotta fly out of here.  See y'all later.

lol every year the USA TODAY does a feature on why Quebec City is the place during winter to "mend a broken heart" after Valentine's Day.

You don't know the real bagels probably. Never found any outside of Québec that taste like real ones. People here have been able to imitate French bread but not bagels so far. And it's even worse in the States. Pouah what's that thing ? A white bread donut ? lol I think the law forbid the cooking of real bagels because there's no preservative in it. A little bit like the issue with some cheese from Europe.

Sorry but it's true unfortunately.

  Good morning everyone

Michel, I think the reason you can't get a decent bagel anymore is because they bake them now.  Real bagels are actually 'poached' or boiled.  They are quite easy to make yourself (although kind of a lengthy process), but if you yearn for a traditional tasting bagel, you better get out your mixing bowl.  You can also still find the occasional bakery that boils instead of bakes.

Morning everyone.. off to run around!

Hope everyone is having a good day. Im staying out of the bagel controversy on here.. I deteste bagels. I prefer steak and egss in the morning while camping.. not bagels and cream cheese.
