 Michel- I read a recipe for Grand-Peres au sirop d'erable.  Are these maple dumplings good?

 Thanks Michel.  I won't be cooking any maple dumplings.  Reminds me, the Festival du Bois was this past weekend out here in the 'burbs (actually in Maillardville).  I didn't go this year (too much going on).  But it's usually fun.  Eat pancakes and hop around to fiddle music.  The Knights of Columbus have a tent where they make maple candy (while singing and yelling with scarves tied around their waists).

Lil Me, I meant to say Wells Gray Park. Wells would be a cool place too. I am wanting to live in a small town like that surrounded by trees. Just have to adjust my career so it fits...and a girl that fits my personality too!!LOL!

  Michel, have you ever been to Wayne's Bagels in Calgary? They bake the bagels with a wood heater and I can't compare to what Quebec has, but Wayne's are better than anything I have tasted in Vancouver. (Maybe the owner is from Quebec?)...

  Do you miss Quebec? It looks gorgeous! I can't complain though, Washington, Oregon, BC, and the Alberta Rockies are beautiful too.

I remember the fantabulous waterfalls at Wells Grey Park.
 
 Wells, BC is a weird town (not too far from Quesnel).  We went there to go to Barkerville.  Outside almost every house is an old toilet bowl filled with flowers.  There is a funky restaurant called The Bear's Paw.  
 
 I think there's also a casino(?)-- seemed like a weird location to me.  Even if it is a tour bus stop.
