I haven't had much time because I decided to make a big pot of home-made veggie-beef soup and it's rather labour-intensive. It's in the pot now, so I can just sit back and inhale the aroma. Mmmmm!!

Mmmmm....homemade soup. How's it going today kitten ?[/DIV]Looks like we're both in the cooking mode. I made 2 dozen spring rolls today. Man they're fussy work. Darn good thing they're so yummy.

If the weather stays like this, I'm going to do some yard work, kits.[/DIV]I don't know why I call it work, it's my favourite thing to do. I'll work in the yard over housework any day.

You could call it 'ground work', or 'grass work' or even 'dirt work' if you dont like yard work! lol

No, I LIKE yard work, dirt work AND grass work. It's housework that I don't like.....housework done properly can kill you.

I just hire someone to do the inside. It usually takes all of my energy just making the mess, I have none left to clean it!

When my freezer starts to look a little empty I make about 7-8 liters of soup. That way I have an instant meal when I don't want to fix anything special. Those spring rolls sound great. I haven't tried to make them in quite a while. Do they freeze well? I wouldn't want to make them just for one meal. It wouldn't be worth the energy.

Well, I'm off. Enjoy your patio beer AND have a great weekend. And tenkani, your drink looks yummy too, but I think you'd have to dress for the occasion.

I've never tried freezing them kitten. We're going to get together with friends tonight, and everybody usually brings something, and everyone always asks I bring those. They're way too much work to make a small batch.

For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.
