We aren't spoiled people...... ;)
she'll laugh, that's all I really want.  She doesn't care.

we don't usually give much for birthdays anymore. Mainly funny stuff. I think I got socks last year.

A gift doesn't have to be expensive. It's the thought that counts.... just to that me (and I'm only speaking of me) a toothbrush and a brush isn't what I would look for when I open a present. I would prefer someone making me a meal or just go out for a decent movie.

Anyways, I'm sure your sister will appreciate your gift. Don't listen to me. I'm just rambling.[/DIV]

well she gets angry when I use her brush, and I do steal her toothpaste.
she is 17 now so she can see a Rated R movie by herself so I'll take her to a movie.

I thought it was really funny.
It shows a lot of Montreal in the winter time which is cool.
I thought it was a better film then Talledega Nights, which I didn't find all that funny.

Really? I love Tallega Nights. Thought Will Ferell was absolutely fantastic in that one but my hubby's of the same opinion as you. He thought it was just so-so. Maybe he had high expectations and it fell flat.

Did you watch Frank Miller's 300 already?

Lil Me

Evening (almost) lovely people!

Today was Easter brunch with the fam.  It was at my grandmother's seniors' home.  All was well until my oldest kid developed and allergic reaction and started hurling.  It was probably some dairy product that was stuffed into the sausage filling.  Gave him a Benadryl capsule, which he had difficulty swallowing in his state, so he let it melt in his mouth (yuck!) while lying on the couch.  He retreated to the kids' play area and watched Arthur while lying down.  When he was sufficiently recovered, we started trekking home.

How I'm at home moving furniture and throwing things out.  Spring cleaning!  Even freed the dust bunnies that were trapped in the exhaust hose of the dryer.  Re-arranged my storage locker and hid my Xmas decorations in an empty utility closet --shhh-- don't tell.   Teh Strata Council master key ring has its benefits....

Had Chinese food for dinner.
Going to pick up my grandma at the farm in a few minutes.

Oh Lil Me!!! That's so scary!! I hope that Lil Me Jr is okay. There's nothing worst than seeing your kid go through that. Yikes. I hope that all is well with you. TIGHT HUGZ!!

I have started spring cleaning my mother-in-law's kitchen. Boy, that was a mess so today I'm suffering from dust allergies. We've managed to fill up our garbage limit and we still have a long way to go. I know what you mean bout the Xmas decorations... I have way too many and it keeps getting bigger and bigger each year. Funny how when we were just married, we were the only ones in the apartment with our storage locker only 1/3 full.

*yawn* Feelings effects of the drugs now..... *sigh*

woot, having a great day, actually got to sit down with just my family (mom, dad, sis) and have dinner by ourselves for once. Usually grandma or my cousin is home so we don't get alone time as a family.

Anyway sis is about to open presents.

*poof*

Wow.  *bless*  You're such a nice daughter-in-law.  Hope the allergies get better.  A hot shower always help me out.

Oh dear... poor young man..I hope that he's doing better, Lil Me. :))

We got SO much cleaning done today.  I went on all fours to scrub our kitchen floors.  It was a filthy mess!  My guy did 4 loads of laundry and still not done yet.  He needs to do 2 more loads.  I swear, he loves leaving his laundry to the last last minute!  LOL...well, he did dejunk a lot of his clothes.  It was great cleaning today.

Then, off to grandma's for Easter dinner.  We had ham, scallop potatoes, sweet and sour cabbage, rolls, lemon meringue pie and apple pie.  I am stuffed!  :)
