YEah... all these pc problems are starting to annoy me as well, all these programs i have keep have conflictions with the new updated microsuck stuff. Im getting to teh point Im going to get rid of my desktop and laptop (which is less than a year old) and buy all mac stuff. Get the program that has a dual system setup so I can run windows for some windows and DOS stuff that I still tinker with.

 Greetings. A quickie here.

Allergies. Still there. I was sneezing for the first five minutes and then it went away. Weird. I dunno.... my lawn looks like it's been butchered, thank you very much, you    bleep*bleep*bleep*&T*%+_+IUYY&^**& crows.

Russ - how do you make your tandoori sauce for the BBQ? I can't duplicate it. The ones I buy from the cans and jars suck. Don't taste the same.

purelife - good luck on the programs. I have no idea what to do with a computer except to hit the on and off button.

PC - wowee! Am jealous. You're such a handyperson. I may need to consult the Great Goddess on tiles later on in life as I'm planning to gut the kitchen. Hope I can learn from you.

SD - heya dude. Hope you had fun with your grandmother.... yesterday??[/DIV]

Afternoon Lise!

Umm, I cheat. I go to one of the ten EI shops by my house on the same block that sell uncooked seasoned chicken/ beef/ fish in whichever flavour you want.

Legs and theighs are 2.29 a pound. We bough the four different seasoned types of chicken as well as some plain.

Breasts are 4.19 a pound (i think on this one).

Its great the place Ive been going to for years.. cause on one side you can buy meats and you turn around and they rent videos.. in the same store.

Oh. I never thought of that before. Which restaurant if you don't mind me asking?

Crap. Gotta run. Have a great rest of the weekend, Russ.

Hi Everyone!  And Good Evening!  Gotta run. Just finished lacrosse practice and showering stinky kids.  Easter dinner tonight with the whole fam.  I don't know whether we're eating a turkey, ham or a goat.  It will be a surprise!

woot! My transcripts got here! But, of course they said I took only 1 year of band. lol
I know what the problem is but it can't be fixed. (I took 2 years and have a varsity letter to prove it).
Anyway Monday its off to the community college and getting my college transcript.  Then the money order (anybody know what a money order is?) then send the application in the mail and I'm done!

You can get money orders from your bank (well...any bank)  Also, I don't know if it's the case in the States, but here they are available at the post office too.

Just ask for a money order for X amount of dollars, and they will know the rest.

money order is like a cashiers check.....probably you can buy at a drug store or bank.  You give them the money plus a fee they give you a money order for the value you are purchasing.  It just a guarantee of the face value.  Better of to go to your bank and ask for a cashier check......most likely free or cheaper

Sportsdude

okay, great!
will they also do the exchange rate?
because 150 CAD is not 150 USD

You will ask for a money order in the amount of $150 Canadian dollars. [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/froehlich/c020.gif" border=0]

cool! Can't wait this whole process is exciting!
Its like a vacation
transcripts check
admission form check
photo check

only thing left to do is to go to the community college, get the transcript of my Spanish class and then the bank money order and I'm done.

easy peasy.
Hopefully I get in because the other school's admission process is a pain in the butt, they want act, family history of university school, where your parents work, what my sister does, if I have a dog (just kidding), third person approval, then the college essay.

Such a pain.

Hi Peeps!  Just returned from the fam Easter dinner.  *burp*  It was a good one.  Soy marinated turkey, whole roasted suckling pig, prawns, noodles, rice, salad and veggies.  Copious red wine, fruit, and the bowls of cheezies/chips/nuts candies that sit on the table and beg to be eaten.

Entertainment was an Easter egg hunt, hi def hockey and Curse of the Golden Flower.  The background conversation was pretty hilarious- lots of "Where did that Chinese cleavage come from?" (in the Curse of the Golden Flower movie)

Dinner sounds incredible Lil Me.  What a feast!  Was this your Last Supper, supper?  I didn't know they had cheezies back then.

This one was the BIG family Easter dinner with the whole gong show.
