I'm back.

Good to see Lunch took off in my absence.

WTF?

Is this a federal holiday in Canadia?
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

Good afternoon everyone.  Heya tenkani *smite*

Yep, it's a federal holiday where most office workers/banks/gov'ts have the day off.  Malls/stores are still open (with exception of some).  If I were to work today, I'd get double pay.  We always have stats off.  Banks/Gov't jobs have Mondays off.  Lucky them.  I don't get Monday off.  Not a stat. :(((

I've got to get going soon...just thought that I'd drop by and say hi.

Hi Lunch Crowd!  Just got in from the mountain.  18 degrees, sunny, incredible views of Vancouver and spring powder.  Tuck straight down, so turns, no stops... wooooot!

My lunch was turkey wrapped in Persian pebble bread, sesame snacks and chopped veggies.

Sportsdude

well I just got back from the farm.
And boy to I have a story to tell that I think rivals Russ's.
It involves pregnant teens, a girl getting knocked up by a cousin, crop failings, cold weather, and a dog eating a chicken, and more pregnant teens.
lol

tell it tomorrow.

er.  It'll be difficult to rival Russ.  All the girls say he's pretty fly for a white guy!

Morning all. Looks like it's gonna rain. So sad....... I'm hoping the rain will stay away though.

Easter was work, work, work yesterday. Mowed the lawn, trimmed the edges, clean up the weeds (haven't been able to bend down since my last pregnancy) and gave the bushes nice haircuts. All in all, a very productive day.

Funny how you start mowing the lawn and before you know it, all the neighbors are out in force doing it the same thing. It's like a little community going and everyone's discussing the merits of lawn care. I feel so out of the loop as I'm the only female on the block mowing......

Good morning Miss Lise, Miss Lil Me, and da lurkers...

I agree Lise, it was like that around us too.. there was like fifty fricken lawnmowers going at once, and I felt jealous. So I went down the back and starting cutting, grinding, and welding on my truck so I made lots of annoying noise back.

Dinner last night was Tandoori and other EI seasoned chicken, then I bbq'd it on the grill. It seemed everytime I finished a batch and turned off the 'que more people showed up.
Then what a night, lol. We ended up taking our trucks out to a place on the river for a bit of mudding and 4x4ing, then afterwards we picked up food and went to a place we been going to for years.. when as soon as we pulled in two police cars pull in behind us blocking us in. We didnt look like we deserved it at all, I mean only lifted trucks playing music dripping mud and dirt. To make a long story short, when the first officer came over to me and asked me for license and registration.. I started laughing, and he immediately got this hard look like he was going to take me down. I asked him when he joined the police, and then he recognized me. While we caught up, lol, after he took my license and regi.. the other officers gave my friends a good going over, it was pretty funny!

Hi Lise and Russ!

Russ- kudos on being noisier than the Jones'.  Bet cha cooked better chicken than the Jones', too.  That's why they kept showing up to eat!

Lise- how are the allergies doing?  Good on ya to get the yard work done.  I have no green thumb to speak of.
