bi bimbap day

Hmm? Not sure what that is?

Actually, just reading a biography of David Bowie. "Alias David Bowie". Its not a real thinker, but it has some interesting events in his life. A "hand me down" from my oldest sister. I have been looking for a good book lately, I do enjoy biographies.

Hi P.C.! I hope your weekend was sweet. Mine was. I rested soo much, I think I need a rest to catch up. I needed it though.

tenkani

Ah, P.C. you are so hard working! Must be rough as a freelancer, hey? I don't know if I could handle the stress, but some people say they love it.

LOL bi bimbap is a korean dish that they sometimes serve in my cafeteria (the place is run by korean folks). It's rice, meat, vegies, an egg and other assorted goodies stirred up with hot sauce.

It's actually better in a restaurant because they cook it in a hot pot and it makes the rice that touches the sides of the pot hard and crackly (in a good way)   *drooldrooldrooldrool*
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

P.C.

Worked like a fiend all weekend, but that was good too.

Have you read Angelas Ashes by Frank McCourt.  It's been around for awhile but....[/DIV]It's not a real thinker either, but it's a weep your guts out one minute, and laugh out loud the next, kind of read.  I so loved that book.  One of the few I've ever read twice.

"Ah, P.C. you are so hard working! Must be rough as a freelancer, hey? The other part is, having my house in a bit of an uproar when working on some of the larger projects.

Ahhh, we all have our crosses to bear.

Just make sure you have time for P.C., P.C.!

General question to anyone. Does anyone know a good spware for PCs? My computer is running scarily slow at home. Discussed with my internet provider, was told to get better Spy protector.

I highly recommend a combination of Lavasoft's "[a href="vny!://www.lavasoftusa.com/"]Adaware[/a]" and "[a href="vny!://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html"]Spybot Search & Destroy[/a]".
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Thank You very much.

Lise

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd bump in for a quickie.

I got a Spyware program for my computer and caused my computer to crashed. I thought I was doing myself a favor by removing a file the program thought was an adware (or whatever) and as a result, windows wouldn't open. Or maybe I'm just stupid. * heh *

My husband wasn't in the best of mood afterwards.

Hi Lise! *Big ol' CK hugs*

I heard about the spybot. I actually tried to use it at home. Problem is, my net is so slow, it times out trying to "run". So I downloaded it at work, burned it to a CD, if I copy it to my hard drive at home, hopefully that will work. Says it is free registration, no limits too? Is that too good to be true?

Lise

I think we use Spybot... I can't remember. Yeah, I think it's ok to download it. You can always change software if you're not happy down the the road but so far, Spybot hasn't asked me for any $$$ yet.
