Well, here ya go. 99.8% complete- all that's left is a little pressure washing (to blend where the old deck meets the new), painting the railing, and then some minor touch up. But it's party-rated and ready to go. Whew.

I am truly impressed.
My dad was a carpenter at one point, and although I inherited none of his skill with the hammer and saw, I have massive amounts of respect for the planning and effort required to accomplish something like what you've done.

For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

I like it.  Knowing me I'd go a little crazier and build an over hang with a roof so I could put some hanging plants up. But I guess thats what the bottom of the deck on the lower level is for.  Still can't get over the trees.

Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped.  They have not forgotten.
