That adds another wrinkle, but the [a href="vny!://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAC_address"]MAC addresses[/a] are unique for all intents and pruposes. So, dozens or even hundreds of people working at Boeing (and I use the term loosely) can all appear to be coming from the same IP. If you ban one, you ban them all. The MAC address, however, is what allows the traffic to "know" what particular PC to go to. Server logs often show MAC addresses, so it
is possible to nail a specific bit of traffic down to a single PC if you dig deep enough.
