This is a little silly, but what is everyone's favorite song?

Mine changes a lot, but Pulp's "Like a Friend" is always in the top 5 list.
If you're bored then you're boring.

Charles Trenet - La Mer. It may be old, buyt it's still the most romantic piece of popular music I can think of, I find it redolent of dark choclates, steak, red wine, subdued lighting  and all that leads up to imminent seduction!
A fool's paradise is better than none.

You have some great choices there, SD.  I like the music from JackFM.  They play many of your songs that you have listed.

Mine swings from time to time. Depending on my mood. I currently like Kelly Clarkson's Don't Walk Away, Shakira's These hips of Mine and a whole bunch of others.

Mostly anything raw, original and female.

I don't seem to like american bands....

  I've got Canadian stuff

Arcade Fire

Stars

Stills

New Pornographers

Neil Young

Kathleen Edwards

  UK:

Coldplay

Franz Ferdinand

Travis

Muse

Keane

  Irish:

U2

Snow Patrol

The only american stuff I like is Ben Folds, Death Cab for Cutie, Foo Fighters, Metallica,  and some Soundgarden

If you like country music and rap music (which I despise) then the u.s. is the place for you musically because thats all thats played here. The top listened to stations are always the country station in town even in Seattle.

"Butterfly" by Talvin Singh. It wraps up everything I like in music in one song.
...religion has made some contributions to civilization. It helped in the early days to fix the calendar, and it caused Egyptian priests to chronicle ecplipses with such care that in time they were able to predict them. These two services I am prepared to acknowledge, but I do not know of any others
