For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

I think some of the 'guests' are actually a search engine indexing the message board.

And Good Morning!
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Good morning TehBorken.  I'm not sure what that means.

I don't know what it's like in your neck of the woods, but it's blowing like crazy here.  I may have to vamoose.  I don't like the looks of those trees out there, whipping around.[/DIV]Yikes

A search engine hits the site and follows every link, one by one, catalouging the all pages. They usually run several processes at once so it looks like there are gobs of people browsing.

We lose power anytime someone sneezes within a 200-mile radius. And the power 'leg' my home is on is always the last to be restored. Me and a few of my neighbors sit shivering in our cold, dark houses, look out the windows, and watch everyone else turning on lights and TVs, making dinner, and staying warm. About 10 hours later our power comes back on for us.

LOL.....same here TehBorken.  Candles and flashlight batteries are an essential on the daily milk and bread list.  Same thing with the power restoration here also, only difference here, is I can't see any neighbours, and heat's not an issue.  We're heated by wood only.....so cooking and heat are OK.

I have a woodstove and a generator so we'll see how it goes. Arg.

Anyway, I'm outta here for a bit. See you all later.

Good morning, TehBorken.  That sounds rough!  A Coleman stove would be useful,  don't you think?  Also lantern, tons of sleeping bags, wood fireplace, etc.  Sometimes modern conveniences aren't that convenient.

Actually, I love it when the power goes out.  It rechannels your patterns.  It never ceases to amaze me, how much white noise there is, and it's absence when the power is out is almost audible.
