Hello Kitten

How very nice for you.  Our temperature is supposed to rise to 25C. this afternoon, and I will be working in an almost closed environment.  A guaranteed weight loss environment somewhat akin to a sauna.

It's been like that for me for well over two weeks - however no weight loss perceptible. Then again, I'm just one of those people who neither gains nor loses weight no matter how much or how little he eats.

How does your cat respond to the heat?

My cat responds languidly by putting in more sleep time close to the fan.  I try to emulate him when possible.  I'm glad the day is cooler for you on your day off.

Cats are amazing creatures regarding preferred levels of heat.  Give them a very cold winter's day on which only one stray sunbeam enters the room, and they're guaranteed to find it.

That's what my cat does, unless I beat him to it!

Hello PC and Gopher - that cat looks as though it really got the cream. Cats MUST be the most photogenic of all animals!

Hi, Gopher.  Just arrived from the vet.  The cat's tank is topped up and he's content, as am I.  Did you have a lovely non-productive day yesterday?  I think all animals are photogenic, but cats are my favourite pictures.    (you would never have guessed, would you!)

I agree, almost every animal is beautiful, but none of them lend themselves so well to being pohtographed as cats.

I also think that baby hippos and rhinos can be very appealing.  Not reptiles, at least the snaky kind.
