Not at all my dear PC....I am knowledgeable..to the places that have the reputations that flood...and wouldn't dare put my kids through that.  We are on flood watch still...to be safe...hot hot weather...could cause another melt down of our rivers.  Other than that...things are tickety boo!  Highways and biways are open...and business as usual!

Thank you all for caring in this time of stress for your smaller neighbours...

goodmorning peeps.  The sun is shining! The water receded a foot or so yesterday.  We are sticking to reality...and knowing...that the forecast is...river receding...but more rain to come.  We are still expecting the river to rise again.  It is still extrememly formidable.  People aren't racing to clean up or rebuild yet..as the fun isn't over.  Our hotels are full...the local motor home businesses are donating travel trailers for people to stay in.  Local business are gathering up food to donate to emergency services.  The government is providing emergency funding to people displaced...but is giving them a bit of  a hard time.  They have to apply every day to be sure to have room and board.  Many places are still in the drink.  I am safe.  Much of our town is actually safe.  They aren't reporting that in the news.  It is people that are lining our river that are in dire need.  That is just a long winded update y'all....want to hit the sun while it is still here!!!!!!

well...goodmorning peeps  *Yawn*  Wow...DS off for yesterday!  Well...went down to our raging river and took a quick clip....quick...because I wasn't sure how much memory I had left on my camera.  The rain has stopped...and hopefully....fingers crossed..the river will even out today.

geez SD...you are creating drama.  I took a drive out...and at one place...I expect that the river will jump the tracks...and over take...the valley.  My area is still safe.  No..didn't sanbag.  Had kids to take care of...one extra for the day.  As of now...sleep is calling...but it seems...that an hour or two is all I will get.  Will see how I function in a little bit..haha...won't even bother logging out.
