(Just for a change).
The fact that there's someone else here at the same time as me (Natasha).
The view of Christmas.
The extra nice personalities of many people.
The extra giving to charities.
Embracing friendships
Time is going faster.. but not fast enough
Never wish time away. You can never get it back.

Makes a difference when you work away for half a year...
Yeah, I can honestly say that the last ten years have flown by.. to the point I wonder where its gone, lol.
When I go away my life at home seems to be put on hold for me, when I get back it seems like so much has changed while Im still in the stage I was when I left. It seems I never catch up on what I missed, with my friends having been to it all. Different experiences away, it seems like two lives to be honest. I figure I will continue with this away business for as long as I can, before taking a job back home.

I think that happens no matter what the situation is though. When my daughter turned ten I couldn't believe she was a full two hands! Now that she's going on eleven, I often look at her and think "Seriously, when you did get that old?" How is it possible that almost eleven years has gone by? It just doesn't feel like I've had her that long...lol

:( that's rather sad, Russ. Do people try their best to keep you up to date? Since you never catch up on what you've missed, how do you manage to keep a level head?

Good luck trying to keep it all together hun. No matter where you are or what you're doing, remember that you're missed and loved by someone, somewhere.

Sorry Im quoting the whole mess. It is hard to figure out what bracketed designation is what. Too bad it doesnt show how its going to look before you post it.. lol.
Um, no it seems like I miss whole parts and never really catch up. My friends try, but it seems that so much has happened, little things but still happened none the less, that its impossible to always find out. I used to email them to find out, but in general we dont see each other as much as we used to due to lives, marriage, kids, etc. Life goes on.
As for driving me nuts.. yeah it did.. trying to keep up and trying to find out what I missed. I would get a bit strung out trying to keep up with everything. I find now its easier just to let it pass me by, and if interested in something Ill look it up online to for the past news or whatever. At teh end of the day, wtf can I do to change anything anyhow? Nothing, LOL. I just worry about myself and life around me, the rest just falls into place.
YEah.. sounds like a crappy life, but its actually really not too bad. Otherwise I wouldnt be here.
So far this week I have been liking the fact that the days are starting to flow into one another.. meaning its getting near the end.
the idea of London.
The light displays all around our neighborhood. Many houses here go all out!! :) It's amazing to watch our little guy just stand there in awe.
I bet you'd love to know what's going on in his head when he looks at them.
Having lots of company. [img border=0 src="vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/14.gif"]
The fact that all my presents are bought and wrapped.
Well done Gophie !
Everything warm
Natasha's above post.
....mmmm....warm hot cocoa. :)
I like that our little munchkin claps his hands whenever he likes something or is happy. He also claps his hand when him and I play "patty cake."
^ :) that's so cute! This week I've been liking my life in general. Who I have, what they bring out in me, the fullfillment I get from them, simply knowing them as a regular human being, what they stand for... they're all such a blessing and I'm proud to know them all.
The thought that in a few days all the chaos that precedes Christmas will be in the past.
Having family stay a few days.
The dinner I had last night.
The same...getting to spend time with my family. Everyone lives so far away that I don't get to see them as much as I would like. I miss them terribly and enjoyed having everyone over. The Christmas holidays ended way too soon for me this year.
Christmas day.

Okay that ,may be over sharing of info D..
I have been mostly liking my new medication dosage less pain and a little more maneuverability..
Still to early to tell if they are really benefiting or just having a placebo effect I will give it another month to see how things go..
A few minutes that seemed almost springlike earlier in the week.
I am so ready for spring
Loving the warm sunshine and shaved the beard for this sweet early spring...
Hi Orik, I totally agree with you. I'm loving this weather!! :)
It's a pity we can't bottle it up and use it when it's not so good.
Doing work on my daughters room. I spent part of the day sanding and I loved it. Sometimes I like the actual getting dirty work better than the ordinary housecleaning work.

I have lots of dirty work you can help me with
lol.. I think I'll have enough to do with the room. I have more sanding tomorrow but I also have to go shopping for a Vals Day outfit.
Are you still having work done to the cabin?

HI Purelife long time no see. =) yeah this Spring sunshine has been most awesome Yup you got that right D.Dit would be great if we could bottle it up and pop out a cork out on the bad days and fill it with some needed sunshine...

You're going to have your hands full. Will you hire workers? A project like that (on your own) would take such a long time. My dad and step mom did their entire home alone. It took them a couple of years before they could move in. They lived in their little camper that entire time... no power, no running water.... for two years. Can you imagine? I think younger people are too spoiled for that type of lifestyle.. I know I am anyways..lol
Oh yeah and this week I've been loving the weather!
I'm with you on the weather, Natasha!
Last night, there was lightening and then thunder. It was so LOUD!! I loved it and wanted more but it ended. :(
Today, it's sunny and beautiful.
Long live the sunny and beautiful!
Oh, and I am also liking the increased variety in fruit!
I'm getting tired of seeing/eating apples, bananas and oranges. I started seeing strawberries and can't wait for the other fruits to arrive: nectarines, peaches, plums, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, kiwis...mmmmmm, I'm salivating just thinking of all the fruits!
Here you are purelife:(//vny!://i56.tinypic.com/1z5kk76.jpg)
Thank you for the birthday wishes Purelife...
The politeness of this forum.
Thanks for the basket of fruits, Gophie but I'm afraid I never received it in the mail... :(
Did you eat them all before Fedex'ing it??!!
I ate them - but I thought of you ate the same time.

It's great that you try to do most of it on your own but don't overdo it. These home prokjects can take alot out of a person.
My like for this week.... getting most of the room done.
