Thinking about visiting your fantabulous city. What's there to do with the family other than visit the zoo?
Any family oriented restaurants?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welll....there's the [a href="vny!://www.pacsci.org/"]Pacific Science Center[/a], the [a href="vny!://www.pdza.org/"]Tacoma Aquarium[/a], and the [a href="vny!://www.undergroundtour.com/"]Underground Tour[/a] for starters.

I'm a noob. Of course, this is DiscoverSeattle. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/2.gif) Forgot that this is a search portal for things I'm looking for.
Tend to think of this as a forum more than a search portal. * sorry *
Thanks!
What I learned on this website, Seattle has a billion coffee shops besides Starbucks!!
I always stop by that big coffee store in the middle of the road. What's that call? Seattle Best? (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Teasing/5.gif) Alas, you can't feed a toddler coffee but I'm gonna check out the aquarium TehBroken mentioned.
You bet Seattle does! Although, I never actually spent time there as a family. It was always in my younger days. Just looking for music and clubs back then. Ahhh....gonna go off into lala land now and think about the 90s for a bit.......................................................................................
CK, I know what you mean. I'm seeing things differently now that I'm a parent. It's a weird feeling, now I look to family events instead of things I used to do back when I was single and younger.
It's a cool city. I can't wait to go back to the market again.
Yeah, those crazy days are long gone for me. Last time I went to the USA, we just camped on the Oregon Coast. That is my speed these days. hehe!

Oh yeah- the Pike Place Market is a lot of fun and it's a great place to take the kids too.
Ah Oregon. That's another great place. We drove down the coast line.... didn't camp out there but we did do horse-riding along the beach and sand dune buggy. Ah, great times.
Boy, do we sound like a couple of old farts. No offense.
TehBroken, there's lots to eat in Pike Market, right? What would your recommend?
No Offense!!! I am so offended!!!! Kidding!
Psst...older..not "old"
I like my lifestyle about 1000 times more now than back then. I would be dead if I tried to keep with the pace I used to be at.
Now a few brews now and then is all I need to get crazy!
OK, OK... older. Not old. I feel "old" sometimes even though I'm in my thirties. (SHOCKER) Anyways, it's good to live the good old days. Now I'm scared thinking my kid will go thru the hellish stuff we did as kids. Bah. Bring me my rocking chair.

Oh boy, that's a hard one- there are so many little shops with great food there. Ummm....Kell's Irish Restaurant & Pub, Le Panier, and Piroshky Piroshky are all good. There's a tiny hole-in-the-wall place right there inside that I can't remember the name of. It's about the size of a dining car and looks out over the water.
My kid is gonna do math and physics on Friday nights....WAKE UP CK!!!
sorry, dosed off again...

You know its good when the locals love it!!
Thanks TehBroken, I'll look into those places. Dunno if they sound toddler friendly though. Thanks again.
