Title: Things that I think are odd about the official 9/11 story
Post by: van_guy on May 13 09 09:42
This has stirred up some controversy already - and I know PC is game - so here it is ...

Post things that, in your mind, don't add up regarding the official 9/11 story.

Rules
1) No name calling or slanderous comments
2) No tinfoil hat stuff (i.e. there is the face of the devil / Osama in the smoke)
3) This is designed for active debate - if you can show that another poster has been misinformed please let them (us) know.
4) This is not a place for politics (Just the facts ma'am)
5) This is not designed to disrespect the people who lost their lives (or the surviving families)  - on the contrary I think the most respectful thing anyone can do is to find out the real truth behind what happened.  If the truth is that some terrorists highjacked some planes - OK, however if the truth is something else - then I think it is very respectful to the families to find that out.

1) Geoege Bush states on TV that he saw the first plane crash into the WT Building.  There was working in the WT Towers YET I can tell you exactly where I was, what I was doing, what I was thinking the instant I found out.  You would think that the President (who I'm guesssing knows 100 or more people working there would have even greater cause to remember the details surrounding the details of what he knew when.

I have to say that the chances of him getting the info wrong are close to 1:1,000,000

2) Why did Tower 7 collapse?  Perhaps more importantly why did the 911 commision not even consider this in their report?

3) Why did the FBI collect all the surveilance tapes from hotels / gas stations (within minutes) and fight so hard not to release them ... the only tape they released voluntarily don't show a 757 hitting the building.

4) The plane that hit the Pentagon peirced a number of the rings 3-4?? which means that an alluminum shell peirces multiple feet (6 or 7 feet?) of steel reinforced concrete.

4a)  The engines of the plane that hit the pentagon did not seem to damage the building at all ... 7 tons (?) of steel can't penetrate a single concrete wall but the alluminum nose penetrates 6 or 7?

Title: Re: Things that I think are odd about the official 9/11 story
Post by: van_guy on May 13 09 10:07
4b)  The lawn of the pentagon has no significant wreckage on it. The pilot who is said to have been flying the plane was considered to be a very poor pilot (of a cesna) to skim along the surface at 500 mph in a 757 and not leave a tire mark seems unlikely.

Title: Re: Things that I think are odd about the official 9/11 story
Post by: van_guy on May 13 09 10:12
4c)  No bodies were recovered from the wreckage of the plane that hit the pentagon.  The engines (made out of Titanium alloy melting temperature a bizzilion degrees C) were never shown to the media

5)  The plane that crashed in the field in Penn.  there were no survivors no real wreckage shown.

6) What are the chances that there were 2-3 different war games planned for that day ... 0 military aircraft intercepted 4 high jacked aircraft.  I understand that the usual sucess rate of intercepting a high jacked plane is excellent (80+ %) so to bat 0 for 4 is very unlikely.

7) The slander campaign that said "If you question our story you are a bad American"  If the story is true then what would they care what people think?

8) If G W Bush was so sure that Osama did it ... why did he wage war in Iraq??? Why devote 100 troops to fight in Iraq for ever 1 troop to fight in Afganistan??

9) I understand that there were ~10 the usual number of shorts (betting that the stock would decrease in price) on American Airlines and a few other companies compared to the usual volume on Sept 10th.  Why have'nt we found out who put these orders in??

10)  What are the chances that 3 steel framed structures collapse due to fire (these were the only 3 in history to do this)

Title: Re: Things that I think are odd about the official 9/11 story

10a) What are the chances that the only 3 steel framed highrises to collape due to fire in the same day are owned by the same guy - who happened to have terrorism insurance and bought them just a few months ago.  (Pretty good return on investment)

10b) What are the chances that the only 3 steel framed highrises to collapse due to fire in the same day are owned by the same guy - who happened to have terrorism insurance and bought them just a few months ago.  (Pretty good return on investment)

plus all three buildings collapse more or less into their footprints (i.e. fall straight down)

plus theat all three buildings collapse more or less into their footprints (i.e. fall straight down)

plus these buildings required to have the asbestos removed before any significant remodelling took place (hideously expensive)

11)  Why were all the window blown out at ground floor of the towers - why were there reports of explosions in the subbasement, why were there huge granite slabs blow off the walls of the lobby if the planes crashes 100 stories above???

I'm kinda glad that I have that effect on people - hopefully some of my comments cause at least one person to look at their values / beliefs and ask why do i believe that or ...

I will answer   ;)
Probably from Mexico though ... I'm off to pack now.

10d) All three buildings fell at or near free fall speeds - i.e. the lower floors offered no resistance to the collasing of the upper floors.

10g) Traces of thermite were recovered from the wreckage of tower 1 (2?)  and examined by a prof at BYU.  Huge pools of motlen iron were observed in the wreckage of towers 1 and 2.  This does not make sense unles large amounts of an explosive like thermite wasn't used.  Material that looked like molten steel was observed poring out of Building 1 (2?) - again you would need thermite to do this.

Hey van guy.  Haven't sunk my teeth into this one yet.  Been busy whipping the yard into shape for summer time relaxin.  But I will.  I'm almost afraid to get back into it.....Sawdust worried for a while that I was almost becoming obsessed.  lol   I couldn't stop asking questions, and spent hours and hours a day googling any and all info I could find.

Here's what I'd like to know: Where the HELL did the wings from the 757 that hit the Pentagon go to? Hmmm? Where are they?

Why aren't there any marks on the build where the wings would have hit? How does a soft aluminum nosecone penetrate multiple layers of reinforced cement walls? Why is there virtually no wreckage at the site? Where are all the tray tables, seats, luggage, bodies, and other stuff that's ALWAYS found at every other airplane crash?

Whatever it was that hit the Pentagon, it sure as shit wasn't a 757.

Why did it take almost 5 years.....FIVE YEARS, for the Justice Department to release the tapes of flight 77 striking the Pentagon.  Why, why, why would it take 5 years ?  And even at that, the video was only a composition of still images taken from two security cameras from the pentagon from 2 different angles.  "Previously released still photographs from those cameras show the Pentagon on fire, but no images of the Boeing 757 striking the building have ever been made public."

Why ?  If the video images from the security cameras would dispell instantly any 'misconceptions'....then why are they not out there for the world to see.

They certainly are not visible.

No marks visible.
9 feet of concrete.  There is NO way an alluminum plane can do that.  No freakin' way.
There is nothing to show a plane hit the Pentagon.

here is the link to the "Hunt the Boeing" website ...  [a href="vny!://www.asile.org/citoyens/numero13/pentagone/erreurs_en.htm"]vny!://www.asile.org/citoyens/numero13/pentagone/erreurs_en.htm[/a]

Whatever it was that hit the Pentagon, it sure as shit wasn't a 757.

there are at least 8 different things that dictate that there was no 757.

1) size of hole
2) no wreckage
3) flight path - the supposed terroist was a poor pilot (barely fly a cesna) the flight path was extraordinary - steep bank inches off the ground etc...
4) lack of fire damage
5) penetration of 9 feet of concrete
6) lack of video showing crash
7) confiscation of videos within minutes from hotel / gas station
8) numerous eyewitnesses smelling cordite (explosive)

It just doesn't add up.

Why ?  If the video images from the security cameras would dispell instantly any 'misconceptions'....then why are they not out there for the world to see.     Exactly right.  If a 757 hit a Wall mart the store surveilance would have 3 or 4 different views of it.  We are not talking about a Wall mart though we are talking about one of the most secure buildings on the planet.  I've heard that ever square inch is covered by video surveilance.  This means that there must have been literally 100's of cameras that captured the plane.  They show the public 5 frames from the parking lot that don't show a plane that have the wrong time and date on them ...
[/p]If they have nothing to hide ... show a couple of tapes with a 757 in it.

In this picture you can see that the windows directly above the point of impact are still intact - you can see foam on the panes.

I recall from the reporting in the very early days, when mention was made of a highway cam, the the plane had to have crossed it's view point or vantage point.  No plane.

I noticed today, when looking up some things, that the early interviews with people who were there are either gone or I just didn't dig deep enough.  But to me...these raw interviews are the most accurate and the most reliable...as they are gut reactions....no outside influences.  Several....and I remember it clearly, said the same thing in spite of not being interviewed in a group.  As you mentioned, van guy....the smell of cordite and "it sounded like a missile".(not a hundred percent on the cordite....and I'm not even sure I knew what that meant....it just came out as I was writing this....so I'll stick with that...lol)   Although I have no idea what a missile sounds like....I DO know what a plane sounds like....as I'm sure these people would as well.

Thanks 49er.  That was absolutely amazing.  I don't understand how there could be a person left on the planet that needs more evidence than that.  If not for a complete reversal of opinion...at least for a demand for investigation.
