I'm glad I'm not greatly influenced by all the health claims of these studies...whether for or against....as I know within 6 months, they will change their minds completely. Coffee - bad....coffee - good. Red wine - bad...Red wine - good. Chocolate - bad....chocolate good. Too much this....not enough that....no, wait...too much that, not enough this. Who can keep up.
Scientists have yet to hear the wisdom in the old adage.....Everything in moderation.
Well I think the truth is 'moderation' like you always preach. Ah, like they've done studies now, the model looking people with zero body fat don't live as long as the people who have a bmi that is barely 'healthy' range. BMI 23-24
Eventually in 20yrs they will be able to figure out how long we'll live just by looking at our dna (for like 10 bucks). They can tell us this now (its too expensive), but wouldn't that ruin the idea of living? Ethical question.
