I've been to the Imax a few times. I enjoyed it and am so fascinated with the 3D affects!
I've been to the Plantetarium once.
Imax can be a lot of fun. I seen the March of the Penguins in Imax.

Really, None? That would've been amazing to watch March of Penguins on Imax!!
March of the Penguins would be awesome in IMAX. Michel...I'm not sure, but I remember some talk about whether converting Mof theP's to IMAX format was worth the costs....and I believe they did it.

Just trying to find out more about it...and it looks like maybe it WASN'T re-formatted.

I'm surprised because it's not the same type of film. It can be projected on an Imax screen but it won't be in imax format.[/DIV]
that sounds correct. It looked just like a stretched movie.
I also seen one on volcanos a few years ago.
FYI the Southam Observatory (outside the Planetarium) is open and staffed by volunteers on clear Saturday nights. Admission by donation.
The bus goes there.
The Imax theatre is good for movies you want to watch on the big screen. Haven't been to the Planetarium but will take the kids there. I can just imagine them loving the sight of stars and planets.
