TOO LATE.....I'm glued to the set as we speak !
Ya.....I understand a couple of birdies took it down.
At least there are no deaths, and I think, not even any injuries.
*The plane was en route to Seattle.
Probably a couple of humming birds.(//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/6.gif)
And people make fun of me when I'm a nervous flyer. All it takes is a bird to take down the plane. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Shocked/6.gif)
Canada's secret weapon......the canadian geese, brought down the plane. US should control its borders better

It's not natural I tell ya !
155 people on board some injuries but extent of the injuries is not known... it's on cnn coverage right now...1 passenger reports that a loud bang was heard, the plane shook a bit and the passenger reports that he could smell smoke.. the plane turned back to the airport, the pilot over the intercom warned passengers to brace for impact... and that's the report of what happened so far... reports are the plane is slowly sinking now.. but everyone was rescued safely ....
lol why don't you go take a walk naked in the snow and sleep under a bush tonight?

I was never prettier than Robert DeNiro. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)
Yes, it was those Terrorist Canada Geese that did it!
Poor gooses. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Sad/11.gif) It's amazing that this plane came down in the area that it did, and nobody caught it on video.

And while I'm satisfying my curiosities...what does this mean.[/DIV]
Yipes. This is true.
But I wouldn't get taken down by a bird. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)
They are disecting this event with an extremely high-powered lens. It WAS amazing, but they do things to death on the news.
Days like today I'm glad I don't live in the states anymore, apparently it was wall to wall coverage of this plane landing, NBC Nightly News took up half of its newscast to talk about it. (lol it was Bush's speech to the nation night, yet it wasn't shown live here on the west coast, or was it done in that afternoon? If so that's really funny.)
Yeah I rather watch news about the collapse about Nortel and Vancouver Olympics.
We're having a mini war on campus with the two rival faction groups. We've had a jewish girl denounce the actions of the Israel group saying they don't speak for me. They started this whole brewhaha for waving terrorism signs, shouting nazi, nazi and anti-semitism, at a guy who said and did nothing wrong to provoke at the Palestianian support speaking series gathering. Then the Jewish group leader has denounced her and said that she was fabricating the story more or less and gave their version of events. Meanwhile the Palestinanian group filed a human rights/discrimination complaint.
One thing I've learned, never bring up your idea of peace in the Middle East or you'll get labeled an anti-Semite. I brought up the idea of Israel becoming a secular state that happened to be jewish, oooh snap that was a bad idea.
