This is pretty cute.
Cake in 5 minutes.....made in a mug. You don't even need mixing bowls, or cake pans. Just a microwave and a mug.

Cool. Makes me want to try it, just to see if it works.
lol.....me too. If you read the comments on the web page, and there are tons.....there weren't very many nay sayers. There were even a few vegan altered options.
(I'm going to try this.....lol)
Erratum, men who don't cook don't have flour.
This is true. But I have faith, that they know where to get it. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)
You can use that for icing I think. At least that's what I heard. [img onclick="selecte('rolleyes.gif');" alt=emoticon src="vny!://www.pushupstairs.com/images/emoticon/blehnet/rolleyes.gif" border=0]
Did Lil Me just leave to make a mug cake ?
And I trust you !
[img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/c008.gif" border=0] As you should.
Someone could make a fortune selling this in a dried cake-mix form (just add water) in a microwavable carton.
Or...
Those crafty people could package the dried ingredients in an Xmas mug...replete with instructions to add the wet ingredients and how to cook....and sell at a craft fair...
Yer a genius, yer a genius ! You could call it College Cup Cake !
Ooooh. Would be a perfect gag gift. Tons of tacky Happy Birthday or Happy Graduation mugs at the $1 store.
You'd HAVE to include one of those little birthday candles....and maybe a stupid hat as well. [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/musik/g015.gif" border=0]
I actually think Lil Me is on to something.
LOL.....I think it's dangerously close to crafting....so I suspect Lil Me won't be going near it because of her craft allergy.
P.C. is exactly right.
But I am thinking about packaging one for a friend in Edmonton. It's her bday later this month, and I KNOW she will like it, espcially if I include a candle and a bday hat! I know she will actually make the cake. (then she will ask me for the recipe). She usually has the maturity of a 12 year old (as do I at times)...so we were good friends all through high school and collectively responsible for a ton of immature practical jokes....when we were considerably older than 12. We nailed people with pie-in-the-face on a few birthdays, and sent a lot of anonymous love letters to unsuspecting boys...just to see what would happen.
You Lil Monkeeees....LOL
I think it's a really cute gift for someone afar.
