I like the Sam Adams Ale and Pete's Wicked Ale.
I really like Keiths.

But there are soo many beers to choose from.
I like SA and I like almost any raspberry ale or hefeweizen. I don't like the porters, stouts, etc.
One of my all time faves. Flying Dog Pale Ale, from Denver. The Cascade hops really make it. Give this stuff to people and they just gulp it. Hard to stop drinking this stuff. Well, it's easy now, since it's no longer available in B.C. They brought it in a couple of years ago or so, in anticipation of a beer strike.

BEST GERMAN PILSNER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like Full Sail Pale Ale, from Hood River, Oregon. It's not too fancy or anything, just a damn good beer.
soapbox, you're a discerning consumer. Future Canuck, are you familiar with another Oregonian brew known as Dead Guy Ale? I haven't had the Full Sail yet. Looking forward.
I have seen Dead Guy Ale around, but haven't tried it. I don't drink it that often, so when I do I'm a bit overwhelmed by the beer selection here in the great Northwest.
It's so bitter you can't drink more than a few dozen before the bitterness starts to get to you. But it's clean rich, beautiful! Can't get it up here anymore dammit!
I don't have a favourite beer, because I never acquired a taste for beer. (rats)
BUT these are my favourite Beer Commercials !!!!

Wow, I just watched a couple of those PC. Thanks for teh link! Isn't that Devandra Barnhart singing?
New Belgium is a way cool company, too. They get all their power through a wind farm, use solar power, do steam recapture, the whole nine yards. Beer's good, too.
Yes, I believe it is FC. Love his sound.....almost Donovanesque. JUST LOVE it....lol

Bought a bottle of this once, and a bottle of See Ya Later Chardonnay. Cashier says, "Well, it was nice knowing you, sir."
I like L'Ephemere from Unibrou in Quebec, every season they make a different seasonal flavor. I've had it in Pear, Apple and Cherry...it's REALLY good!!
yeah

Heyyy! Thanks for bumping this thread. It made me look at my favourite Fat Tire beer commercials again.
Sleeman Honey Brown and 1516.

In Montreal I used to like Molson's Export, but somehow it tasted different when I moved here.

You like those commercials SD ? I love them. I can't remember how I came across them, but I love that guys voice.
Hmm....this thread reminds me of Future Canadian. I miss him.
FC.......DROP IN AND SAY HEY !!!!!!
Just don't get too drunk there, SD......
I just watched MTV's reality-documentary on a group of surfers who went to Bali and got disgustingly drunk. I really don't understand why this show would promote being drunk and getting stupid as a result. Meh. Maybe I'm getting soft in the head because I don't get this generation of teens who think that drinking till you puke is cool.
Oh my liver hurts just thinking about it.
Fat Tire commercials a guy riding up mountains with a flickering light. awesome.
I don't get drunk Lise, I just like to taste everything. I can get away with drinking more though, because well, I'm a foot taller then the average person.
and to add I love german beer bottles labels. You don't really have to drink to admire the quirkiness in them.
Some of the German beer mats are pretty good too, Sportsdude - but they taste awful.
mats?
You know, those little round or square cardboard things that you put your beer glass on.
oh coasters!
Yeah same thing, but they taste equally bad whatever you call them.
COLD
MGD or Bud in the summer
*ducks*
Kokanee gold for the ski beer
I STILL wish I liked beer. Just can't develop a taste for it. weird al has recommended some awesome sounding beers.....but they still all have a flavour that doesn't appeal to me. ( I WILL work on it some day)

P.C., I'm back drinking beer for the first time in years. After having my kids, I disliked carbonated beverages (too burpy, gassy, etc.) and stuck to wine and vodka.
Michel wrote: You should drink your beer cold and with a collar, you'll feel less full.
A collar ? You mean you should dress to drink it ?
If stella artois is a beer, then that's my fav.
Stella's are great, except I hate getting one with friends at a pub. Everybody else has beer mugs and I get a wine looking fancy glass. lol

OK let's try the glass half full version:
Stella's are great
If I ever get another dog, I'm going to call it Stella.
STELLA ! STELLA !
hahaha. It's just I get looks. Like "oh SD has to drink Stella... (laughs)" lol
It's all in good fun though.
I drink 'that German beer' Heineken down on the farm. I got shot with a bb gun one year because of it. lol
Are ya sure it was because of the beer ?
Well multiple things, the kids down there are thin skinned, can't take jokes and don't like sarcastic people. Which means I can't speak, cuz that's all I do, talk in sarcastic ways. To them though its funny to shoot the city kid, blow up dead rodents for New Years etc.
Are there banjos involved ?

Maybe. It has been a long time since I seen that show too.
Easy Rider made me scared of rednecks too.
