I didn't know that Tropicana was partly owned by Pepsi.....
They have redesigned the logo for Tropicana.
Here's the new:

and here's the old:

Which one do you like and what do you think?
MMMMmmmm...orange juice! :)
yeah you can have pepsi for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and workout. lol
Damnit I likened the old design better.
I drink this on occasion.. gotta have the pulp in it though.
I like the old one too, but without pulp.
Definitely the old design
When I see the new design, I think of the new Heineken bottle/labelling for some reason. Maybe that was the intent on Tropicana to market themselves to the 18-35 crowd. lol

subliminal messaging voodoo lol
what crab?
I still don't see it... or get it.... what's wrong with me today?!!!!
The new Tropicana logo looks like a stylized 1970s design IMHO. Rounded letters. Like the American Apparel style.
I find their new designs too bright then again, it may just be a matter of getting used to them. I like Tropica with plenty of pulp. That's my fav.
I'm on to something here with the similarity to vodka bottles and Heineken bottles.
The orange juice is in a glass. The glass is completely naked no advert with a an orange on the front. It's saying they've gone upscale and at the same time are marketing themselves as cool.
star.
I'll be the odd man out....erm...woman. I like them. I'm a sucker for great packaging, and I'm a huge fan of antique labels. Yet....I like their simplicity....the clean design. ON the OTHER hand.....they do look a wee bit like a generic brand label. (not that there's anything wrong with that)
In other words.....I'm wishy washy on the issue. (//vny!://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/12.gif)
well that type of marketing a product label is 'in' right now.
People apparently are craving simplistic, minimalist labelling. Anti-clutter, something sharp.
People want to see the product in its natural state ala a perfume or vodka bottle.
Beer companies were first to jump on this. Heineken, Budweiser all changed their logos to clear labelling.
