As new words are included in dictionaries, old words are sometimes dropped because they are no longer in use. Compilers of the Collins Dictionary have a list of words they are considering dropping from the new edition. I find myself embrangled by all of the words on the list. Being as I have never heard of a single one of them on the list, I won't miss them.
I loved these words and shall endeavour to memorise them for use in my everyday vocabulary (they're also useful for Scrabble and word association games).
